    Interesting stuff mate.
    One interpretation I saw was:
    "Robert Graves considered Tiamat's death by Marduk an example of the shift in power from matriarchy to patriarchy through the revolt of the goddess's consort".
    As in Tiamat being related to the Sumerian words TI (Life) and AMA (Mother).
