Starwars Uncut
n 2009, Casey Pugh asked thousands of Internet users to remake "Star Wars: A New Hope" into a fan film, 15 seconds at a time. Contributors were allowed to recreate scenes from Star Wars however they wanted. Within just a few months SWU grew into a wild success. The creativity that poured into the project was unimaginable.
SWU has been featured in documentaries, news features and conferences around the world for its unique appeal. In 2010 it won a Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Creative Achievement In Interactive Media.

Vocaloid
The Japanese have taken the Gorrilaz concept to another level whereby not even the voice is real.
Popstars such as Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin and Megurine Luka all use the Vocaloid 2 software from Yamaha.
A voice is sampled at controlled pitch and tone. These different samples all contain a single Japanese phonic which when strung together create full words and eventually phrases.
Of course it's all mainly cheesy Jpop but they are hugely popular with 1000's of songs written by different artists.
